MHA #10 - Thursday Morning

It turned out that even with Goose’s healing factor, he couldn’t handle ten jello shots and when Goose woke up this morning to try and get back to a normal routine, he realised that his normal run around the island was not going to happen today.
At least he had managed to sleep so hopefully it wasn’t going to turn into what happened last time but …that had been a lot and honestly really he shouldn’t have done that but at the same time it had been kind of fun?
All of that went away the second his communicator started beeping loudly and he realised it was Commander Walsh and … oh he should really answer the call this time, he couldn’t really avoid it for that much longer.
“This is Ranger Gooseman,” he said and Walsh appeared on the screen.
“So you do know how to answer your damn communicator!” Commander Walsh greeted Goose rather impatiently, “the whole team have tried to contact you, I even got Ambassador Waldo to leave you a message in case,”
“Sorry sir,” he winced, trying not to flinch at how loud he was, “I …I was asleep for four days and then I was a child before that,”
Commander Walsh’s sigh could probably be heard around the island, or at the least the apartment building as he proceeded to give Goose a very loud lecture on the importance of being reachable and to not disappear without contact for two weeks again.
It was going to be a long morning.
[door’s closed but post is open - especially if anyone’s around and wants to investigate the noise]
