Room 424 - Saturday Morning

Goose was up early and had gone for his morning run, like he did every morning, he had no idea that anything unusual was going on in Fandom at the moment.

He made his way back to his room, closing the door behind him when a voice spoke up.

"Hi dad,"

"Star," it hadn't taken long for Goose to recognize his possible future daughter with Darkstar. Only this time it seemed some time had passed because she was a teenager now.

"That's me," she smirked, "the last time I was here I was 8, 9 year old me was so disappointed the portal didn't arrive,"

He gave a nod, "it is good to see you," he said, giving a slight smile, "how are Max and Josie?"

"They're good," Star told him, "Josie is a research assistant at Longshot and Max is a Galaxy Ranger with a Series 4 team,"

"and how about you?" Goose asked, "do you go to school here like Max did or..."

"I started my Freshman year here last year," Josie replied with a grin, "I've basically wanted to go to no other school but Fandom from the first time I went through the portal,"

Goose gave a small smile, "I am glad that you're here though,"

"Me too," Star said, "so how much time has it been for you, I think you were a junior when I was here last,"

"It's only been a year for me," Goose replied, "I'll be graduating in a couple of months,"

Star nodded, "this is still kind of weird for me, even though I'm a student at Fandom and I've been through the portal myself I never expected it to happen while I was at Fandom, when Max went through it was always when he was home visiting us so that's how we both got through the portal,"

"I can imagine," Goose replied, "it doesn't get any less strange, even after so many years at Fandom,"

That was a bit of an understatement.

"I think that's a bit of an understatement dad," Star grinned, "considering even in my time Fandom is still being visited by future kids," she was personally looking forward to the possibility of getting a visit from her own future kids after hearing about it happening to Max, she wasn't going to share that particular bit of information though, just keeping it to herself. If her future was this version of her dad's, he would find out soon enough.

"Whoa..." he hadn't even considered the possibility that the future kids coming through the portal would still happen even when his children were going to Fandom.
